Shalom’s Lament

The book I’m currently reading is called Foreskin’s Lament: A Memoir by Shalom Auslander.
It’s a black-humour tale about what his childhood in an Orthodox Jewish Family was like and I must say it is indeed pretty funny…and also poignant.

Yeah it’s another short and kind of useless post but I don’t have much else to say…

in My Life 101,Writing

Since my first “real” (read “4 days”) trip to L.A. will be in September, it’s been a few weeks since I’ve done my research now, and Ken Levine just posted about where to find writers in L.A. (obviously not to give out your spec).

I think I’ll give it a try, though not necessairly to find writers, rather to save money (because it’s obvious writers always go to the cheap place, right?).

The Procrastinator

in Writing

Just came across this interesting article about how to write a genre movie in 7 days.

Since I’ll soon be out for about a month without Internet access nor anything else really I think I’ll try it out in the wild!

The big problem against writing anything is probably procrastination, and to be honest I’m a huge procrastinator, so this is gold.
