I at first thought the final was so good and cried everytime each of the characters recognized one another. What a great ending it would have been to continue to live their lives in the sideways world with their memories of the Island, thus making the Island experience real. I watched LOST episodes here and there over the six years. This final season I went back to Season 1 and watched episode after episode and realized what a treasure this series was. It was beyond belief in detail and acting etc. etc. I then went back and again watched it this time with my grandson and daughter in law. After the finally I stopped rewatching. None of what happen before makes much sense now and it so uninteresting now. I have no desire to buy the Season 6 DVD. I think they blew it. They made it a "so what" ending which diminishes all the brillance that came before. Oh how I miss the LOST that I loved so. I totally agree with you.
