A month after Disney gets its 30% share in Hulu (why is everyone only surprised about it now?), all the ABC shows that will be streaming there have been announced:

– Full episodes for ABC’s Lost and Grey’s Anatomy as well as ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager and Greek.
– Episodes from some ABC daytime shows like General Hospital and The View.
– Canceled/old shows like Commander in Chief, Hope & Faith, as well as Less Than Perfect.
– A few Disney Channel shows as well as a couple of classic Disney movies.

Meanwhile, E!’s Save One Show poll results have been announced with The Sarah Connor Chronicles leading at 53%, more than twice the numbers that Chuck pulled (25%) and over five times Dollhouse‘s (10%). Life only got 8% followed by Privileged at 4%.

For those who care, I’m also still working on my list of pilots that I think will get picked up (more on that next week) as well as my “What you need to know before the new Star Trek” post.

ABCannes

The busy week continues for me but at least I have time to post for you guys the several news of today, most of them having to do with ABC.

First, early pick-ups for the network.
The list doesn’t seem that surprising: Obviously Lost (for its final season), Grey’s Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Brothers & Sisters, Private Practice, and Ugly Betty.

Nothing about the new shows though (The Unusuals, Better Off Ted, Castle and In the Motherhood), as well as Scrubs (most likely the last season anyway).

ABC will also be showing a preview of next season’s Flash Forward series next week during the Lost episode.
I loved the pilot script back then, so I’m anxious to find out how it looks like on the screen.
My guess is, they’ll show the freeway sequence.

Out and About

Looks like Rod “Lego Man” Blagojevich won’t be part of NBC’s I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here after all.

A federal judge has just rejected Blago’s wish to join the reality show set in Costa Rica.

I guess the flight risk was way too important.

Also on NBC, Debra Messing is coming back to the network starring in a still-untitled comedy written by The Starter Wife‘s Josann McGibbon and Sara Parriott.

Moving on to Chuck stuff:

I don’t believe that Chuck needs saving, but if you want to send in stuff:
Jericho had its peanuts, and Chuck must have its Nerds (the candy)!

Or so says Joss Schwartz:

A couple years back, “Jericho” was briefly spared the axe when its fans sent peanuts to CBS. What should “Chuck” fans send to NBC?
In lieu of peanuts, I would ask our fans to send Nerds. The candy. Not actual nerds that they can find on the street. Don’t go to MIT, put them in a box, send that over to Burbank.

You heard it here first folks.
Well, maybe not, but I want my ego to be tamed.
