Not much

No surprise over at ABC with the 13-episode pick-up of Flash Forward.

Dollhouse meanwhile ended its run with a new ratings low.
Dead show walking.

In other news I am myself preparing to got to Cannes next week.
The Screenings Guide was released the other day.

I’m not sure yet what movies I’ll be able to see though…
Inglourious Basterds?
Antichrist?
Drag Me to Hell?
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus?

More on this Cannes story later this week.

Not much else to add today so I’ll just leave you with nothing else.

Fail

That’s how I feel after reading some of the latest news going on around.

First, Activision is eyeing a possible TV Show adaptation based on the popular Guitar Hero video-game.
There are also some talks about a movie version of the game.
Yeah, seriously.

Keanu Reeves meanwhile is set to star in a Universal remake of The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

As for FOX’s Virtuality by Michael Taylor and Ronald D. Moore, well…

The 2-hour pilot directed by Peter Berg will be aired as a Movie of the Week…
On July 4th.
Also on the “Oh God, please no” list is FOX airing Michael Taylor/Ronald D. Moore’s Virtuality 2-hour pilot (directed by Peter Berg) as a Movie of the Week…
On July 4th.
As usual, way to go FOX!

Star Trek & The Onion

Yet again way too busy to make an epic post as usual.
So, uhm…

I’ll just post this great The Onion vid about the new Star Trek that comes out today:

The movie is kind of way over-hyped but it’s still very entertaining and fun.

If you’re interested in knowing what the frak is going on though with Nero and Spock, you pretty much need to read the prequel comic.
If you’re not familiar (like at all) with the Trekverse, follow these advices!
